The projector doesn't start when I turn on the power. What could the problem be? |
 |
Check the following:
- Be sure that the power cord is properly connected to the projector and plugged into the electricity outlet.
- Turn on the main power switch.
- Check if the lamp lid is open.
- The airflow passage may be blocked. Check to see if the air inlet/outlet vents or air filter are clogged with dust or another object. If so, remove/clean the passage. |

Why does the power indicator blink red when I turn on the projector? |
 |
The reason may be one of the following:
- The projector was turned on again too soon after it was turned off. Wait for the lighting sequence to correct itself.
- The power switch was turned off while the fan was running, during or after lamp operation. Repeatedly turn the power switch on and off several times.
- The room temperature is too high for proper operation.
- If the lamp is not working, it may be burnt out. Replace it with a new lamp. |

The power indicator blinks between red and green. What is wrong? |
 |
Check the following:
- Make sure the filter cover is closed correctly.
- If either the lamp or temperature indicator is on or blinking, the main unit requires repair.

The projector suddenly stopped projecting the image. What happened? |
 |
The projector may have overheated. The airflow passage may be blocked. Turn off the main power switch and check to see if the air inlet/outlet vents or air filter are clogged with dust or another object. If so, remove/clean the passage, and leave the projector turned off for 10 minutes. Turn on the projector and resume. |

Why is the image projected distorted? |
 |
The projector may not be perpendicular to the screen. Adjust the projector so that it sits at a right angle (90-degrees) to the screen. If the image still seems distorted, try using the Digital Keystone Correction function. |
|
 |
The image projected is blurry. How can this be corrected? |
 |
Check the following:
- The projection distance may be beyond the focus area capability of the model you own. Refer to the specifications in the User's Manual, and adjust the projection distance accordingly.
- The lens may be dirty. If so, clean it.
- The image projection size may exceed specifications. Reduce it to between 40-300".
- Brightness and/or contrast may need correction. Adjust accordingly.
- Fine adjustment may not have been done. Conduct fine adjustment.
- Tracking may need to be adjusted. Adjust tracking.
- The projector may not be perpendicular to the screen. Adjust the projector so that it sits at a right angle (90-degrees) to the screen. If the image still seems distorted, try using the Digital Keystone Correction function. |
