Mitsubishi Electric Solar Power

A renewable energy power system can be set-up to suit the customer’s individual needs, and easily expanded to meet future requirements.

Many projects have different applications such as On-Grid power connected systems, Off-Grid Power generation systems or Power Back-up systems.

Mitsubishi Electric Photovoltaic Modules that gather energy from the sun that can power your home or office.

Through solar power technology Mitsubishi Electric is promoting widespread usage of renewable sources of energy.

Installing a solar power system in your residence or commercial facility is something you can do right now to save on energy costs while helping protect the planet. Let's make a difference together.

SMA Inverters for PV and Wind / Hydro Generation, along with Battery Backup Solutions, Monitoring Systems and Accessories.

SMA inverters are available with or without transformers. While the transformerless inverter has an unique efficiency and a low weight, the inverter with a transformer is first choice for all applications where an electric separation is desired. Furthermore, inverters with transformers are flexible in terms of module technology as they are available with different grounding options.

The FlexCell Range has a number of different products to harness the suns energy when you are on the move.

Products include Solid Panels, semi flexible or even roll up panels. The Flexcell products can be utilised for a multitude of different applications such as Caravan or mobile home power or charging Boat batteries or any other mobile equipment. Regulators are provided depending on the application required. The Roll-up panels are more suited to campers and trampers or people on the move.

A renewable energy power system can be set-up to suit the customer's individual needs, and easily expanded to meet future requirements.

Many projects have different applications such as On-Grid power connected systems, Off-Grid Power generation systems or Power Back-up systems.

To use the system selector you may first need to find how much power you actually use
or intend to recover although you may not choose to recover all of the energy with Photovoltaic Power Modules.
To explain how do this you need to make a quick list of the appliances in each room.

The calculations are as simple as:

i.e. Kitchen lights = x4 50watt light bulbs

i.e 200watts     x     Average hours per day of use (if less than 1 hour divide by 60)

       = Total energy use.

This chart will help you find your power usage if you are building a new home: Appliance_Usage_Table.xls

Why Go Solar?

Solar power is one of the most promising sources of energy for the 21st Century. It's a technology that has truly come of age. After more than 50 years of refinement and use in space as well as large-scale "solar farms" right here on Earth, solar power is ready for mainstream use like never before.

Going solar is something you should seriously consider for your residence or commercial facility. It's good for your monthly electric bills, and it's good for the planet.

Characteristics of solar power
  • CLEAN
Solar power systems generate electricity with zero emission of CO2, SOx, Nox or other gases associated with global warming and acid rain.

  • RENEWABLE
Solar power systems can convert nature's sunlight into an unlimited supply of energy.

  • ABUNDANT
The amount of sunlight striking earth in any given hour contains light energy equivalent to the total world energy consumption for one year
An indispensable source of energy

At Mitsubishi Electric we are dedicated to promoting solar power systems as an indispensable source of clean energy for the future. Photovoltaic (PV) modules, which comprise the core of the technology, drew much attention in Kyoto, Japan in December 1997, at the Third Session of the Conference of the Parties to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP3), generally referred to as "The Kyoto Protocols."

At the conference, developed nations agreed to take measures to reduce the production of greenhouse gases such as CO2. One of the most promising approaches is the adoption of solar power systems, which generate electricity with zero emission of CO2. At Mitsubishi Electric, we approach this commitment with the utmost sincerity.
