Daily / 7 day timer options for maximum energy efficiency
 |
 |
Mitsubishi Electric recommends that a Heat Pump only be used when a room is occupied. There
is no need to keep the Heat Pump running when nobody is home or even running a Heat Pump 24/7
as some installers may suggest!
Otherwise you are simply wasting energy and pushing up your electricity bill unnecessarily.
For ease of use, all Mitsubishi Electric Heat Pumps come standard with a remote control with a
basic timer function that can be programmed to turn the Heat Pump on or off at a specific time. |

For maximum energy efficiency and comfort however, Mitsubishi Electric
recommends investing in a 7 day timer. The optional 7 Day timer from Mitsubishi
Electric allows you to program your air conditioning system with up to 8 separate
Start/Stop patterns per day over a 7 day period.
For example:

During the week you can program your system to turn on half an hour before you wake up at 6.30am, turn
off when you leave for work at 8.00am, turn back on half an hour before you get back
home at 5.30pm, and turn off when you go to bed at 11.00pm.

For weekends you can program your system to first turn on at 9.00am instead. |
