PUHZ-RP Series :: External Heat Exchanger
Mitsubishi Electric Hot Water Heat Pumps are designed to both heat or cool water.
The PUHZ-RP Series has three split systems to choose from: 11.2kW, 14.0kW,
16.0kW of heating - suitable for larger underfloor heating applications and swimming
pools.
The PUHZ-RP Split System requires an external heat exchanger. The flexibility of this system allows
the installer to position the heat exchanger right where the hot water is required for both new and
retro-fit installations. The Alfa Laval ACH70-50H Heat Exchanger is made of 316 stainless steel
brazed plate. This requires mounting and installation of refrigerant pipe work to the PUHZ-RP
outdoor unit.
This system includes an interface unit and the PAR-W21 LCD Wall 7 Day Timer/Controller. The
PAC-IF021B-E Interface Unit senses water flow and temperatures with inputs: ON/OFF, Mode,
Set Temp. Outputs: ON/OFF, Error.
Note: Ancillary equipment such as water pumps and expansion tanks are to be provided separately by the installer,
and selected to meet the individual system pressure and flow requirements. This system is supplied
with the Alfa Laval ACH70-50H Heat Exchanger. |

The Split System Hot Water Heat Pump allows for the additional ACH70-50H Heat Exchanger to
be installed wherever the Hot Water is required, to allow total flexibility for both new
and retro-fit installations. Note Ancillary Equipment such as water pumps and expansion
tanks are not included in this pacakge as these need to be selected by the installer to
suit the requirements of each specific installation. These Split System Hot Water Heat Pump
package comes complete with PAC-IF021B-E Interface Unit and LCD Wall Controller. Output
temperature range from 20 to 55°C Heating and 5 to 25°C Cooling
